What wireless network PCI cards have so far worked straight

I'm having difficulty getting a Belkin F5D7000_V3 PCI wireless network card working with Vista. It loads the drivers, but the control software if opened will close down within a second or so - Belkin so far have not replied to my requests for Beta drivers. I'm going to buy another network card anyway so can anyone tell me if they found a Netgear card for example compatible straight out the box? Can't remeber what version of Vista i'm using i think its 5234 or something like that (came on the DVD).

Using the same card on two machines (one with Vista and one with XP) without any problems (now) to a Linksys wireless router/ADSL modem. The Belkin XP Drivers do not (appear) to work in Vista (no surprise) but Vista identified it, and installed the card as a Broadcom 802.11g wireless network card, which in fact it is with a Belkin badge. From what I can gather from their support you won't get any drivers from Belkin themselves until the full version of Vista is released.
I got my network going initially with non-wireless connection and it did take a while to get the wireless bit working and by a lot of trial and error. If I remember correctly to get it talking to the Linksys Router I had to use manual IP Addresses and manual DNS Server addresses (IPv4) as automatic just would not work and left IPv6 well alone. I also use a manual WEP key.
Don't know whether this will help, but the card does work it just needs a lot of persistence and patience.

Sorry I knew I had forgotten something, I also had to enter the Locally Administered MAC Address manually (Network Center>Network List>Reorder Wireless Networks>Adapter Properties>Configure>Advanced>Locally Administered MAC Address = change to Manual and enter MAC Address). I'm fairly sure this was the last thing I did before the wireless network 'kicked in'.

My Linksys Wireless USB Adapter (WUSB11 ver 2.6) works fine, when I plugged it in Vista installed suitable drivers on it's own and they work fine. (None of my fancier Belkin adapters work)
